MEET JUDITH
Ask anyone who grew up over the past 45 years near her hometown in Eastern North Carolina about favorite local singers and Judith T. Chapman is sure to be mentioned in a short list. From traveling and singing in local churches with her siblings during her pre-teen years, to high school gigs with “The Fifth Street Gang,” to singing and playing piano or keyboard for local churches as an adult, she has captivated audiences with her soul-stirring vocals. Judith has dedicated decades of service to local communities, ministering and witnessing through song.
Luther Barnes penned, “You’ve been faithful, you’ve been true / And you’ve done all that you can do / And for your faithfulness, it’s your time.” These lyrics offer a parallel narrative of Judith’s life of devoted service.
The Network Age has afforded Judith increased opportunities to broaden her reach and introduce to the masses what the locals already know. She recently received a crowning birthday gift – recording studio time – from Elvis, her husband of nearly 40 years, and her daughter, Andrea. The gift, intended to be one song, blossomed into an EP of five original songs written by Judith and Elvis, a web presence and a CD release scheduled for late 2019. As her songs will attest, Judith gives all glory and honor to God.
Now Judith,
It’s. Your. Time.
